When placing plastic bottles in your recycling bin, plastic lids and caps should be removed, as they are a different type of plastic to the bottle. Due to their size, they cannot be recycled in your recycling bin.
This item can be recycled for free at a local Resource recovery facility, please ensure they are secured in a sealed/tied bag.
Some neighbourhood houses also collect plastic bottle lids and caps for recycling, contact first to check.
Plastic bottle tops and lids otherwise can be placed in your rubbish/general waste bin.
