Metal lids of any size can be placed in the recycling bin.
Small plastic lids (smaller than the size of your palm) are considered too small to be recycled and should be placed in your general waste bin. Larger plastic lids can be placed in the recycling bin.
Plastic bottle lids can be collected in a sealed bag and taken to a resource recovery facility for free recycling.
